 For sale here is an original printing of J.W.S. Mitchell’s book “Masonic History and Digest in 2 volumes. These books are dated 1870 and marked as 10th editions. The title page reads “THE HISTORY OF FREEMASONRY AND MASONIC DIGEST”. The dedication page in volume 1 is to: GEO. FRANK GOULEY, OF ST. LOUIS, MO., M.E. GRAND COMMANDER OF THE GRAND ENCAMPMENT OF MISSOURI, GRAND SECRETARY OF THE GRAND LODGE, AND EDITOR OF THE “FREEMASON”.  Both volumes are original and have their original bindings which are a little loose. The page edges are gold and the spine is tight and original. There is some browning to the inner pages which is seen in my photos. No missing or torn pages. No writing or highlighting.
